Deep Sea Dive Ride

I built an amusement park ride based on an ocean theme.

This here is the line you stand in waiting for your turn to ride. I made it beach themed with sand and a shell. I used to have an umbrella and a surfboard there too, but it made it too crowded. The gray and red thing there is to hold minifigure's hat or hair while they're on the ride.
We have a treasure chest in the corner here with coins and a red gem.
Over here is a crab, some seaweed and some blue 1x1 plates to add texture.
Here is the part the minifigure rides in. A dive helmet.
For added excitement, a shark pops out occasionally during the ride.
I have a piece of seaweed or something attached on the thing holding the shark to disguise it somewhat. The shark is attached to a 1x2 plate which is attached to the swinging arm like piece. It rotates thanks to the technic connectors holding the pieces together.
The shark can pop up both behind or in front of the rider.

Here's a picture of a minifigure riding. As you can see, his helmet sits on the hat/hair holder on the beach area.
 Mid-ride!
The dive helmet attached to the ropes with a round technic connector
A half pin holds the ropes onto the wall while still allowing them to rotate.
The base has plenty of support to hold it all together.
Close up of the pole holding the shark. 2x4 plates are inside the base to stop it from being too top heavy
More themed amusement park rides coming soon!
