We have here Metalbeard, a micromanager and three minifigures.
A robot SWAT, robo skeleton and Fred the construction worker.
Metalbeard. After a failed assault on Lord Businesses office, he had to construct this new body for himself, which appears to be made of bits from a pirate ship. Also, he can transform into a copier. Not in this set, unfortunately.
"Be ye disabling of yon shield." |
"Arrgh! Get that camera out of me face!" |
This arm has a shark, and movable fingers. Golden telescope on the side, telescopes can be used for lots of stuff, so I'm glad we have one now.
Legs. Barrel, musket, lot's of piratey pieces built in.
Parrot! Because every pirate worth his salt has a parrot.
Anchor on a chain on the back of his leg.
Picture of him holding his sword. One downside is the hilt of the sword keeps falling off.
Sausage and bone inside the chest.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate that his chest is a treasure chest. Genius!
A comparison to movie metal beard revealed no obvious differences, a very cool, accurate set.
Now for the micromanager...
My minifigure counterpart being grabbed by the micromanager. Movable arms!
"Commencing micromanagement!" |
Flick to fire!
Folds up for easy storage!
A minifigure can fit inside to control it!
If you haven't seen the movie yet, I won't spoil it for you, but I definitely recommend it! It's awesome! (Everything is awesome!)
